Recent Projects:
Julia Lee (Kreitman) Rogge is currently the staff Paint and Props Supervisor for the School of Film, Dance, & Theatre at Arizona State University. She also instructs the Scene Painting and Properties for the Stage & Screen course at ASU, while mentoring all Scenic Art and Properties focused students.
Julia has a BFA in Theatre Design & Technology from Emerson College, and has worked in a variety of theatres and festivals across the country in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, California, Texas, Virginia, and now, Arizona.
Prior to this job, Julia was a full-time freelancing non-union Scenic Artist, Project Manager, Designer, & Properties artisan in NY & NJ. In the last few years, she has also taken over as the Scenic Charge Artist for the Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore, TX for 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons, as well as the Scenic Designer for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 TYA Productions at TSF. Julia is a working artist who is always looking for more outlets to express her creativity.
Julia also enjoys working on a variety of other projects such as watercolor, graphic design, murals, digital art, and body art. She aspires to continually develop as an artist, and grow the bandwidth of knowledge gained in this industry with each project she is working on. The learning, especially in the arts, is never over, and each day is an opportunity to challenge, refine, and cultivate one's horizon of skill-sets.
